Project Description

A regional bus carrier headquartered in the Northeast operating in ten states and carrying over four million passengers per year asked Clockwork to create a mobile e-commerce and e-ticketing application.  One of the largest privately owned motorcoach companies in the United States, the company serves over 100 communities throughout the Northeast corridor, with daily express service, including Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC.

The application needed to interface with two industry reservations systems, and provide the company’s first mobile application to its customers and provide a mobile solution in advance of their competition. Clients wanted mobile app solutions for Android, iPhone, iPad, and Blackberry in a four month period.

  • Met with client executives to understand competitive forces, expectations, and functionality requested.
  • Designed and developed mobile application, ecommerce functionality, and web services to interface with two industry standard reservation systems.
  • Delivered full functionality for client review and approval beginning with Android and iPhone.
